Why are the heavens beautiful?
Why am I here?
Why do I give in?
Why do I give in?
Why isn't God near?
Why do I care what others think?
Why did I say that stupid thing back there?
Why do I lack words when I most need them?
Why can't I seem to find my way through the darkness?
Why can't I figure anything out when I keep trying and trying and never succeed?
We're too busy asking why,
to really care.
Stop asking, start listening.
1 Tid-Bits:
Don't know why, suddenly remembered this blog in a spare moment and wanted to see what was new. I like this post a lot. I read several of your 'seeking God' posts and agree strongly with many of your points. Stop asking, start listening is definitely appropriate advice. I agree. I remember when I first read something about prayer being a process of talking to God and... most importantly, listening. (I believe what I read was something by Bl. Mother Teresa.) It is an important thing to keep in mind. I really appreciate your posts on Christianity. My writing feels really choppy, lol, sorry. So tired! :P :D
