A Few Brilliant Ideas...

STEP 1.

Draw a large or medium sized circle for her head. Now the size of the head is going to be based on preference which means you can make it as big, or as small as you want the image to be. Next, add the
facial guidelines, and then draw the lines for the neck
and torso.

STEP 2.

Begin sketching out the shape of Rapunzal's face like you see here. This is a combination of her cheek, jawline, and chin. When that is done, you can add the lining for her mouth, nose, and eyes. This Disney character has some big eyes that are really expressive.

STEP 3.

It's now time to sketch out her pretty long hair that has a slight lift to it along the front roots. When you begin drawing out her hair, don't forget to make it look full, and straight. Next, draw the eyebrows, and then finish sketching out Rapunzal's pretty big eyes including lashes and all. Finish drawing her mouth, and teeth, and then incorporate the shape of her ear with the lining for her face. Lastly, color in the inside of her mouth, and then draw the shape of her neck, and some of her right arm.

STEP 4.

You are almost done with this lesson. Here you will begin sketching out the shape of her blouse or the top of her dress. The shoulders or sleeves are a bit puffy, and snug around the arm like so. Add some ruffle for the neck line, and then draw out some of her right arm and hand which is clutching onto a bowl of some sorts. Lastly, draw the shape of her bowl.

STEP 5.

For your last drawing step, all you have to do is finish off her hand, and then finish her bowl. Notice how the bottom of the bowl is drawn, and how I drew in her knuckles. Add a collar bone, and then erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one.

STEP 6.

When your drawing is all cleaned up and ready to color, you should end up with a sketch that looks just like the one you see here. Now all you have to do is color her. I hope you had fun drawing Rapunzal.

How foolish I am to think I can bring myself a step closer to God by my actions! It doesn't matter if I wait days, weeks, months, or even years to confess my sin after that time being filled with purity. Waiting a few days after struggling and falling to sin does NOT MAKE ME ANY HOLIER IN GOD'S SIGHT!

I know the Gospel! I have followed it's truths for over 10 years and yet I still fall into the temptation to think that I DO something to even COMPARE to the perfection that is found in Jesus Christ! My purity without confession cannot make me anymore acceptable to Christ then my sin can. The glorious truth of the Gospel is that we were born with sin, all of us, yet while we still in our sin Christ came down and payed full passage to the kingdom of GOD for those who believe. How can I grow close to that, how can my waiting to confess sin to my Dad who loves and will understand me, help me get closer to the image of Christ in any way, shape, or form?

I want to live a life of perfection, but demonstrating that I can resist the power of sin before I go to those who love me to admit to the original sin? It's nonsense. I hold on to some vain hope that I can proof myself worthy to a perfect, holy, righteous God. If that's the way that I approach the throne room on the final day, I don't stand a CHANCE my friends.

Don't follow my example of believing that you can make yourself more to God by waiting to confess you sins.

1. Go to someone you know you can trust that is wise in the Gospel(usually your Mom or Dad)
2. Be prepared for sinful nature to oppose you, there's something in sin that likes hiding in darkness.
3. Confess, and seek God's forgiveness.

Proverbs 12:22 ESV "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight."

Galations 6:7-8 ESV "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life."

I came home today, to find my wooden front door open(we have a screen door too.) Naturally, I started calling my dog Rhodie. There's no quick response, though he doesn't tend to respond when he should anyway, so I walk in the house and call him. He comes trotting up. He always goes out the door when it is open. Always. I then begin ranting about his magical door opening talents.
This is sort of what my front door looks like.

No, that is not my house/door, I'm simply too lazy to find a camera.

Anyways, back to the beginning. We've had this dog, a stray my sister brought in off the street three days before her wedding, for approximately six years. He's a stupid, stupid, stupid dog. Yet, he has a fascinating ability to escape enclosed spaces. I'll upload a picture... now.

As you can see, he's a very big dog, which is where some of his talents come in. The first one we discovered was his ability to break out of cages. We bought a metal cage, composed of metal bars that he go into. You already know he's going to escape it, so you'd probably imagine he'd bust it up a ton right? Nooo... Instead he bends the lock door mechanism rod so that he can somehow unlock the door. Crazy animal.

"Cool, he can break out of cages, so what my dog can do that too."(which it probably can't) Well, that's not the end of it. Not only is he a mastermind escape artist in the field of cages, he can also scale chain link fences. No joke. We took him over to our neighbors house where we put him in the fence with two other dogs. Unsatisfied by the unintelligent company and so fervently desiring my own, he scaled it and did a barrel roll over the top. We put him back inside, figuring he had just gotten lucky. He did it again. One of my neighbor's dogs is a huge mastiff that comes up to my waist. The guy told his we couldn't put our dog back in there, because he was afraid his dogs would learn how to do it to. When their dog gets out, the neighbors call the zoo. "So what, he can break out of cages and climb fences. What's the big deal?"

Last but not least, he appears now to have magical door opening abilities. A couple nights before, we came downstairs and there was the BACK door, wide open. However, that could have been the wind, right? But, when we came home today, the door was open(which it was shut when we left) and Rhodie was inside. EXPLAIN THAT. When you open the door, he'll run back and forth inside and outside until such time as you shut the door. He's obsessed with running through doors. I repeat, EXPLAIN THAT. The only possible explanation is that he did a flying jump, turned the handle, opened the door, went outside, did his buis. and then somehow magically nudged the door back open and walked inside. My dog has magical door opening abilities.

However, when we came home, the back door wasn't opening because my Mom had locked/latched it. So, the next thing I expect to see is him unlocking doors. Perfectly acceptable order.

Are you smarter then a 5th grader? To which I respond, "obviously not."
