Da Words:
See, there's a common misconception, in the world and its perception,
that Christians either must be perfect, or a hypocrite's correction.
That's the thing about the world, they don't care about the Gospel
The fundamentals of our faith, the Lord's death, we're his apostles.
1st Corinthians explains, that we're not strong, we're really lame
For god has come to call the weak, He choose lowly and the meek.
See Christians are really patients, not to be confused patience.
We're the ones inside the hospital, with just one doctor that can heal.
Once you start to see the grime, on your clothes and on your life.
You realize that we're all streaked, but while we're repaired you're on the street.
So we're not different, well, all that much.
We both need God so desperately, we're the ones who've started to see.
That's why a reputation has overgrown, why our perfection is overblown.
The difference between you and I, is that I am sanctified through Christ.
And so we fight to glorify God, we become like him, we drop our facade.
And we begin to shine with light, and THAT'S what makes us unalike.
1 Tid-Bits:
This is so gloriously true.
